衡 陽 沿 革 史
衡陽軍艦，原為美海軍Sumner 級驅逐艦，編號
DD-747，由美國伯利恆鋼鐵公司建造，一九四四年六月二十四日完工成軍，民國五十八年九月美國將該艦軍售移交我國，
翌年四月二十五日於左營成軍，命名為「衡陽」軍艦( DD-902 )。
民國六十五年該艦加裝天使一型飛彈，完成精裝系統試射驗收，將我海軍正式帶入飛彈時代，成為我國海軍第一艘飛彈驅逐艦。
該艦在海軍服役期間，擔任海峽偵巡、外島運補護航、巡弋警戒及各項演訓等任務，為海軍建軍備戰與確保海權，寫下不可磨滅的功勳與輝煌之史蹟，於民國八十三年十二月一日除役，走入歷史。
DDG-902 was
the ex-USS Moore, the Sumner-class destroyer,
DD-747, laid down by Bethlehem Steel, Staten
Island, NY. on September 30, 1943, launched on
February 23, 1944 and commissioned on June 24,
1944. Stricken on October 24 1969 and
transferred to ROC Navy on December 9, 1969 and
commissioned on April
25, 1970 at Tsoying
Naval Base, Kaohsiung, and renamed as Heng-Yang
with the hull number DD-902.
In 1976, DDG-902 was equipped with Gabriel I
Surface-to-surface missiles, and brought ROC
Navy into the missile era. The mission of
DDG-902 was patrolling the Taiwan Strait and
surrounding waters to convoy
offshore islands support and supply,
task flotilla and various missions. She played
an important role on the Navy force built-up and
fleet combat readiness, secure the safety of
Taiwan Strait and Maritime communications.
Finally, the DDG-902 Heng-Yang was
decommissioned on December 1, 1994.

陳 年 憶 往
我從士校畢業後就分派到衡陽軍艦，當時的艦長是葉巨上校，而精裝驅逐艦當時只有衡陽、華陽、岳陽軍艦等三艘，並裝了以色列的天使飛彈，讓我國進入了飛彈驅逐艦的時代。

我記得民國七十一年的四月，我們要試射天使飛彈，經國先生登艦一同至靶區校閱，那是我第一次見到經國先生，他親切詢問官兵弟兄的生活狀況；當時我剛好是伙委，正愁不知做什麼樣的料理才能讓經國先生高興時，他先說了：「聽說海軍艦艇上的牛肉麵是一流的！」於是我在沒現成新鮮的牛肉下，只好用罐頭來煮，我很擔心會被經國先生責難，結果當天晚上，官廳傳報經國先生要見我，我非常緊張的到官廳報到，經國先生一看到我就親切的問道：「牛肉麵是你煮的嗎？」我緊張的回答「報告長官，是的！」經國先生又說「真的很好吃，我就是最愛吃這種海軍的『罐頭牛肉麵』了。謝謝你啊，班長」，當時的情景仍留在我的記憶中。
之後有好幾次，我們專送經國先生到外島巡視，他還是一樣，親切的說著：「班長，我要『罐頭牛肉麵』，麻煩你了」，那真是一段難忘的回憶。

民國70年－77年在衡陽軍艦
擔任電機中士職務
I was
assigned at DDG-902 after I was
graduated from the Petty Officer School,
and the Commanding Officer was
Captain Yeh Chu, Back then, there are
only three destroyers, DDG-902 Heng-Yang, DDG-903 Hwa Yang and DDG-905
Yueh-Yang were equipped with Gabriel I
Surface-to-surface missiles onboard, and
brought the ROC Navy into the missile
era.
I still remembered that in April,
1982, we were assigned to test launch
the Gabriel I missiles. Mr. Chiang
Ching-Kuo got aboard to accompany with
us to monitor the missile- launching
exercise. Mr. Chiang Ching-Kuo was very
kind to ask the crews living and
working conditions onboard. I
was the petty officer in charge of the
meals, and was worried what meals we
shall make pleasure to |

Mr.
Chiang, Ching-Kuo. However, Mr.
Chiang, Ching-Kuo said that the
most delicious
beef noodle in the world. fresh
beef in the refrigerator, I used
the military canned beef to make
beef noodle, but still worried
to be blamed. That night, Mr.
Chiang, Ching-Kuo called me to
appraise that the beef noodle
was the most delicious
canned-beef noodle he used to
have, and thank you! That was in
my memory for a long time. Later
on, we had several occasions to
have Mr. Chiang, Ching-Kuo
onboard, as usual, he asked for
beef noodle every time!
